LEO Heritage

LEOPEDIA is a collection of references to the early business computer LEO (Lyons Electronic Office) developed by the Joseph Lyons company Britains largest Catering company in the 1940’s and 50’s from the EDSAC (1949 developed at the Cambridge University Mathematical Laboratory by Maurice Wilkes). There are presently two ways to access LEOPEDIA which in most cases access the same material on the Internet. One is via the CCH (Centre for Computing History) Website in Cambridge , UK, which also provides a gateway to CCH’s much more extensive archive of LEO Historical Material, and the other is via the LCS (LEO Computer Society) Website which also references internal material such as links to Zoom recordings of the Societies meetings.
